Did you know that October 5nd is “National Manufacturing Day”?
Manufacturers and supporters of manufacturing will be out in full force to celebrate and promote manufacturing as a career choice. Through out Ohio and the nation the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) program and the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association (FMA) will be hosting plant tours, career workshops, open houses and other activities to showcase opportunities in manufacturing for job seekers.
Over the next few weeks, MAGNET will be planning activities to improve the image and attract talent to the manufacturing sector.
